Differences Between British and American English

Have you ever noticed how some words are spelled differently by British and Americans?  Are you are curious why?

Below are interesting and fun BBC America articles.  They discuss the use of “z” vs. “s” or where did the “u” go.  New learners may find these differences frustrating. The articles give a little background in a fun way that might help.

At times I find myself using the British spelling instead of the American and I’ve lived in the USA all my life.  Enjoy.
