Aisha Jones is a connector, advocate, and community leader who brings people together to
create lasting change. As the Senior Partnership and Engagement Associate at the
Women’s Rights and Empowerment Network (WREN), Aisha builds strong relationships
with community members and organizations across South Carolina to grow grassroots
power and support meaningful policy change.
Born and raised in South Carolina, Aisha brings a wide range of experience in healthcare,
local government, and the insurance industry, specifically as a Business Analyst with a
voluntary benefits company — offering a strong foundation in data analysis, process
improvement, and cross-sector collaboration. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s
degrees from Columbia College, where she also helped launch the school’s Black Alumni
Club.
Aisha’s dedication to her community shows up everywhere she goes. She has served as
Director of Voter Participation and as a board member with the League of Women Voters of
the Columbia Area. She’s currently serving as Vice Chair of the Education and
Development Committee with the Junior League of Columbia, a member of the National
Association of University Women, where she serves on the Young University Women
Advisory Committee, and the National Council of Negro Women, where she currently
serves as Assistant Recording Secretary. She is also currently serving as a Programming
and Education Committee member and board member for the Friends of African American
Art & Culture affinity group at the Columbia Museum of Art. She is also a member of the
Women & Gender Studies Partnership Council with the University of South Carolina. Aisha
is also a proud graduate of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership
Columbia class of 2025. Whether she’s leading a training, hosting a community event, or
supporting others behind the scenes, Aisha shows up with purpose, warmth, and a deep
belief in the power of people to make change.
